The purpose of this position is to partner with National Account Managers (external wholesalers in Care Solutions) to grow sales in a specific sales territory and to assist the internal sales leadership with quality assurance/monitoring. A Team Lead Internal Sales Partner's role in the sales process consists of gaining interest in Care Solutions products all the way through to an application being submitted. Primary ISP duties may include, but are not limited to: Work with third party accounts and external wholesalers to grow sales in assigned sales territory through the use of sales calls, webinars, sales ideas, case design, and other sales tools and functions. Collaborate with fellow Internal Sales Partners (ISPs), marketers, and/or other business partners to create sales and market recognition within their individual and team sales territories. Promote core EWA Beliefs within team (i.e., create clarity, own it, mutual trust, celebrate success, embrace change, speak up, and grow people). Primary team lead duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide quality assurance by listening to ISP calls and reading ISP sent emails to provide sales coaching. Occasionally attend Internal Sales leader meetings – be an advocate/spokesperson to leadership on behalf of all ISPs. Training/onboarding partner for new hire ISPs. Assigned mentor for a new hire ISP(s) during months 6 through 12 – monthly meeting. Events/activities think tank for ISPs, i.e., NSM, group outings, work area, etc. Deep Dive webinar work. Obtain Yellow Belt I/II. Attend all WSM/SSM meetings (unless management only meeting) Pilot participation. Shared email box management for all ISPs on PTO, FMLA, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of financial industry experience required.
  • Life & Health License required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Active listening and questioning skills.
  • Professional phone and email etiquette.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to handle high-volume tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School Diploma required, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • Securities licensing and/or Industry designations, e.g., CFP, CLTC, RICP, etc., recommended.
  • College Degree Preferred
