Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
  • Proven long-term experience within an industrial company environment
  • Extensive proficiency with SAP systems and related processes
  • Strong experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones
  • Background in sales, product management, or project management processes and tools, preferably within Schaeffler Group or a similar industrial organization
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Strong conceptual thinking, analytical abilities, and effective communication and implementation skills
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment visa or other sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation, development, and rollout of Humanoid projects within BIS to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Act as the primary contact for Global Key Account management and Sales, facilitating effective communication and coordination.
  • Coordinate and lead recurring status meetings to monitor project progress, production schedules, and material availability.
  • Manage part production status by selecting appropriate finished goods for testing and project development using SAP plant views and saleable material numbers.
  • Perform material description-based global inventory searches, including evaluation of multiple pack codes and variations, to identify viable substitutions.
  • Develop budgetary, sample, and series production pricing in collaboration with the Pricing Team to support financial planning.
  • Engage in capacity and investment discussions with Global CCO/BU to align Estimated Annual Usage (EAU), lead times, and ramp-up requirements.
  • Submit RFMM requests to establish material views in delivery plants (e.g., Crossville) for placing firm or free-of-charge orders.
  • Handle sales order creation, initial order processing, and ongoing order tracking to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Liaise with suppliers and global inventory owners to confirm stock availability, explore options to reduce lead times, and obtain accurate ETAs for inbound products.
  • Manage delivery escalations, premium freight requests with cost estimates, and coordinate Customer PPAP activities to support quality and logistics requirements.
