About The Position

Chapel Hill Tire is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Part-Time Recruiter to help us attract and engage great talent. This role is ideal for someone local to the Chapel Hill / Research Triangle (RDU) area who brings recruiting experience and a strong understanding of the local talent market. How This Role Works This position is primarily remote Most training will be in person at the beginning to set you up for success Occasional in-office days are expected for collaboration, orientations and meetings Some recruiting events (job fairs, community events, school events, etc.) will be in person If you enjoy connecting with people, understand how the recruiting market works, and want a flexible role with a values-driven company, we’d love to hear from you. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Strong understanding of the local labor market and hiring trends
  • Proven success with passive recruiting, including cold outreach, strong communication, and relationship building
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
  • Ability to work 15–25 hours per week
  • Local to the Chapel Hill / RDU area with the ability to attend in-person training, meetings, and recruiting events
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft-based applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, curious, and able to work independently
  • Requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in automotive, skilled trades, or similar industries is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and engage candidates, including passive talent not actively seeking new roles
  • Build and maintain strong candidate relationships for current and future openings
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and recruiting platforms
  • Represent Chapel Hill Tire at in-person recruiting events
  • Partner with internal teams to understand hiring needs and workforce trends
  • Maintain organized and accurate candidate records
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and process
