About The Position

Resurrection Medical Center, a key member of the Chicago medical community, is seeking a dynamic and committed Internal Medicine Residency Program Director to lead its ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program. This position offers a balanced role with approximately 50% protected administrative time dedicated to program leadership and 50% clinical practice, allowing the Program Director to remain actively engaged in patient care while shaping the future of graduate medical education. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced physician educator to influence resident training within a diverse, urban healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Three to five years of Internal Medicine post residency clinical experience
• Core faculty experience in an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency program
• A minimum of 3 years of GME teaching/administrative experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director
• Excellent communication skills
• Active involvement in research and scholarship (publications, presentations, etc.)
• Mentorship experience of residents and students in scholarship and development of scholarship programs
