Position Overview Schedule: Primary shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Flexibility Required: Occasional evening shifts (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM) and 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). Weekends: Rotating coverage across all staff members. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (required).
  • Active Pharmacist licenses in both Kansas and Missouri.
  • Missouri Medication Therapy Services (MTS) Certification.
  • American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Less than 1 year
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Licensed Pharmacist (KS) - Kansas Board of Pharmacy
  • Licensed Pharmacist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Medication Therapy Services - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Design and monitor patient-specific therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal, cost-effective outcomes.
  • Interpret and verify medication orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
  • Provide PK/PD consultations and expert drug information to the healthcare team, patients, and families.
  • Partner with prescribers on medication adjustments and document interventions in the EMR.
  • Manage ADR reporting and medication errors while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Supervise support staff and lead departmental projects.
