The Senior Internal Communications Specialist will report to, and work closely with, the Director, PR & Community Engagement, to support the implementation of OnPoint Community Credit Union's internal communications strategy. This role will focus on coordinating and delivering communication initiatives for internal stakeholders, such as Inclusion & Impact, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Learning & Development. Candidates who will be most successful in this role are positive, motivated, and people-oriented. They stay apprised of what's happening across the organization, helping generate excitement and pride as a brand and culture advocate by supporting communication needs for existing initiatives and serving as a change agent for organization-wide projects. They are adept at planning content, while having the ability to write with a quick turnaround time. They share new ideas for improving employee engagement. They are adept at finding ways to connect with and disseminate information to staff in various roles, including those who work remotely, with limited computer access, or at branch locations.
