This role owns the strategy and execution to engage our global employee base—ensuring our Neko Vitals (mission, goals, values, and priorities) are communicated clearly, consistently, and with a human touch.

Requirements

  • 5-6+ years in internal or employee communications, preferably in high-growth or mission-driven organizations.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, human-centered narratives.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Experience managing internal brand communication across global or fast-growing brands, assessing and deploying new technology or comms products
  • Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution.
  • Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for helping teams feel connected to the mission.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of Neko’s employee communications strategy and help shape the internal culture as Neko scales.
  • Plan, edit, and produce compelling messaging and content across internal channels (Teams, newsletters, all-hands, Town Halls, etc.) that keep employees informed, inspired, and connected.
  • Build and maintain a strong publishing rhythm that connects regional offices and Health Centers and promotes engagement around company goals and updates.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, providing strategic counsel, narrative development, and message support for internal moments—from town halls to product launches.
  • Collaborate closely with People team to communicate HR initiatives, benefits, talent and employee programs.
  • Create messaging frameworks and toolkits for managers to cascade company updates effectively and authentically.
  • Partner with external comms and brand/product/medical teams to ensure consistent tone, visual identity, and storytelling across internal and external touchpoints.
  • Measure engagement and continuously refine communications for impact, clarity, and resonance.
  • Regularly review and recommend new tools or platforms to improve transparency, accessibility and connection.
