Job Description As an Internal Communication Manager supporting Intelligent Devices (ITD) and Lifecycle Services (LCS), you will support our internal communications efforts for these operating segments. You will use communications tools, resources, and your own ingenuity to foster understanding, culture, connections, and business results. By supporting the ITD and LCS organizations, you will be the internal communications expert working for and with the Senior Vice Presidents for ITD and LCS and their leadership teams. You will bring your best ideas to deliver meaningful content to employees globally that promotes positive results. You will report to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Internal Communications and will be located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or the equivalent
  • 3+ years' experience in communications, marketing, journalism, business administration, or related field
  • Experience in a range of communication roles, including internal communications. This experience could include consulting experiences involving strategic planning and tactical implementation, creative and conceptual communications, digital campaign development, project management, or business-focused employee communications.
  • Experience developing multi-channel communications and change management programs
  • Experience communicating to deskless employees and distributed teams
  • Collaborator and team player with the ability to navigate a complex, global organization
  • Understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing environments
  • Someone who enjoys telling employee stories
  • Experience supporting crisis communications
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an eye for improving processes

Responsibilities

  • Be an important voice for employees and our communications strategy for the ITD and LCS leadership teams
  • Promote employee engagement and action planning in partnership with the segments' business leaders
  • Support planning, communications, and delivery of quarterly global employee town hall meetings, including slide presentations, run-of-show documents, talking points, and post-event messaging.
  • Work with the ITD and LCS leadership teams and event production teams to produce hybrid meetings.
  • Be a creator of high-quality content across all internal digital channels, including intranets, podcasts, and internal social platforms
  • Be a contributor on a global team with impact
  • Develop communication plans, messaging, and announcements for organizational changes and leadership appointments
