About The Position

The Internal Auditor plans, organizes, and conducts financial, operational, and IT audits. Provides consulting reviews and assists in projects designed to enhance our core business processes. This role will include interaction with the other departments ensuring maintenance of policies, procedures, and controls and sharing best practices supporting our strong continuous improvement philosophy.
The Internal Auditor is an independent strong starter with attention to detail, drive to accomplish goals and focus on quality results. This individual has strong communication skills, the ability to multitask and work with cross functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
• 0-2 years of professional auditing experience
• Experience leading audit projects and applying project management skills
• Critical thinking skills to identify risk, analyze, and offer solutions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, and organized
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Candidate must be able to work with personnel at all levels of the organization

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, etc.)
• Public Accounting or consulting experience
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of IT security and/or infrastructure within SAP environment
• Knowledge around various applications, databases, operating systems, and network controls including SAP and Microsoft

Responsibilities

• Assist audit management in the development and preparation of the annual audit plan
• Identify and evaluate audit risk areas to develop scope and test of controls
• Conduct Information Technology based audits
• Collaborate with auditee to remediate issues identified and follow-up until resolved
• Responsible for timely reporting of audit results
• Assist Enterprise Risk team conducting risk assessments and remediation follow-up
• Support operational improvement by being an active member of the team and sharing best practices
• Exercise high degree of discretion due to sensitive information that is handled
• Performing special projects as necessary
