About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Internal Auditor. As a leader of multi-family communities and commercial properties, we strive to cultivate a fun, productive, and exciting work environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. In this role, you will conduct regular audits, including weekly check reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Education – bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or commiserate experience in the industry
• Analytical skills – strong ability to analyze data, identify issues and think objectively
• Communication skills – effective verbal and written communication for reporting audit findings to upper management
• Attention to detail – high level of accuracy in reviewing records
• Technology – Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Yardi is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly check audits and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
• Conduct internal audits across departments to assess compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
• Review financial records, operational processes, and internal controls for effectiveness and risk exposure
• Prepare audit reports with clear findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations
• Collaborate with management to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency
• Maintain proper documentation of audit workpapers and findings
