About The Position

The Product Manager in technology serves a pivotal role within the Functions Technology organization acting as a bridge between industry, customers and agile delivery teams in technology. The Product Manager is accountable for ensuring products within their portfolio align with business goals across their product estate and reports directly to the Head of Product in Enterprise Technology. In addition, the Product Manager is directly responsible for managing a group of Product Owners, aligned to individual products and engineering teams within their portfolio. Key Responsibilities include: Definition and ownership of the product strategy and vision for their product portfolio Perpetual market exploration to understand industry advancements related and impactful to their product portfolio Maintaining the ART - Agile Release Train backlog including Capabilities, Features and the overall product roadmap Alignment of overall product strategy to approved investment requests Strong collaboration with stakeholders to drive transparency and prioritization Defining key success criteria and metrics for product delivery within their portfolio Supporting engineering delivery across ARTs - agile release trains Relentless focus on transparency and organizational improvements Understands release health, including progress, risks and capacity vs. demand

Requirements

  • Strategic thinking in order to develop and execute long term product strategies
  • Collaboration to work across a diverse set of competencies and stakeholder groups
  • Analytical skills in order to evaluate metrics and drive decisions and improvements
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • 15+ years of overall experience
  • 7+ years working in a strategic leadership role across a large, complex enterprise
  • Experience in a regulated environment beneficial
  • Subject matter expertise in Audit, Human Resources products
  • 5+ years hands on management experience
  • Prior experience acting as a product manager a plus
  • SAFe agile delivery experience and or exposure a plus
  • Masters degree in Business, Technology or a related discipline or related experience preferred
