This position is responsible for ensuring financial compliance and playing an important role in financial operations ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with laws and regulations. Primary duties include performing internal compliance audits in accordance with approved procedures and programs, reviewing and analyzing financial transactions, preparing, analyzing and interpreting reports and records, and participating in process improvement projects. This candidate will need to have a strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be extremely detail oriented. The candidate will need to work independently, as well as work closely with others within the Finance team – and cross-collaboratively within the organization.
