The Internal Audit Department is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity that is guided by a philosophy of adding value to improve the operations of the Bank. It assists the Bank in accomplishing its objectives by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the Bank’s governance, risk management and internal control environment. The Internal Audit Department will adhere to the Institute of Internal Auditors’ mandatory guidance which includes the Core Principles for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing, the Definition of Internal Auditing, the Code of Ethics and the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (collectively, the Standards). The Internal Audit Senior Manager – IT and Data Analytics will support the Internal Audit Department’s goals and objectives as described above.
