About The Position

This internship will allow a qualified student / existing employee seeking a degree to gain experience and knowledge in the Internal Audit Department. The intern will work on projects within the Department as workloads and schedules dictate. Under the direction of Internal Audit Management, this position will assist in audits to independently assess the accuracy of financial records, effectiveness of controls, efficiency of operations and safeguarding of assets. Additionally, this position will perform administrative duties and special projects relative to the Department.

Nice To Haves

• Previous banking experience or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the performance of audit work under supervision.
• Maintains adequate supporting documentation to ensure proper support of audit reports.
• Reviews reports designed to monitor the operational processes of the control system.
• Conducts, or provides assistance, on any other projects, reviews, examinations, investigations, due diligence, audits and/or other duties deemed appropriate in their circumstance requested by Internal Audit Management.
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Regular and reliable attendance.
