About The Position

The Internal Audit Intern at Ideal Industries, Inc. will support the Internal Audit team in evaluating business processes, assessing internal controls, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This internship offers hands-on experience in auditing, risk management, and compliance, allowing interns to develop practical skills under the mentorship of subject matter experts.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional or academic experience in Finance/Accounting
• Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently
• Strong interpersonal skills, quick learner, critical thinker.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and performing internal audits across various business units.
• Review processes and operations for compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and understand business processes.
• Prepare and organize audit documentation in line with internal audit standards.
• Assist in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
