Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems Business Degree program in an accredited university and have completed 60 credit hours.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 is preferred.
  • The incumbent should have completed 6 credit hours of Accounting/Audit.
  • Exceptional Word and Excel skills.
  • Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and a sense of confidentiality is absolutely required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
  • Ability to protect confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing internal audits.
  • Control testing, identify key risks and controls.
  • Use appropriate sampling and controls testing techniques.
  • Identify and assess possible issues.
  • Document the audit results in accordance with the Internal Audit Methodology.
  • Analyze audit evidence and evaluate adequacy of regulatory compliance and related controls.
  • Organize workpapers to support audit conclusions.
  • Prepare audit observations, root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Work as a member of a project team and cultivate a strong working relationship with Internal Audit Management and line of businesses.
  • Actively support the Customer Service First program, support the values of the organization, and follow established policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
