The Internal Audit Intern will assist with performing audit assignments under the supervision of the Internal Audit team. This full-time opportunity involves performing various internal audit activities, including documentation of those activities, and assisting with projects related to the internal audit department's software application enhancements.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Eagerness to Learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting internal audits in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members and external vendors to ensure timely completion of assigned audit projects.
  • Participate in audit committee meetings with the Chairman of the Committee and the bank's executive management team.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Audit committee meetings.
  • Assist with Workiva application projects and tasks.
  • Prepare financial statements mapping documentation for audit purposes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
