About The Position

CTI and Associates, Inc. We’re seeking motivated Civil Engineering Co-op/Interns to support a variety of infrastructure projects under the supervision of a project manager. This role offers hands-on experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to solve real-world challenges in the design and construction of landfills, bridges, pipelines, dams, and more.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred
• Eagerness to learn and an enthusiasm for growth
• Ability to work effectively in diverse teams, including engineers, technicians, and non-technical personnel
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (CTI is a Drug-Free Workplace)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be able to navigate active construction sites
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Generate and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Assemble high-quality project deliverables
• Write and edit technical reports
• Conduct engineering calculations and provide technical support for field activities
• Perform field tests and site observations
• Prepare daily field reports and attend progress meetings
• Demonstrate consistent and exemplary safety compliance
• Alert project personnel to issues or non-conforming test results
