Hill International is seeking an Intern in New York, New York Responsibilities Assist in preparing materials for client workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions. Capture notes, document pain points, and summarize observations during client-facing activities. Support Consultants and Senior Consultants in developing an understanding of client operations and sector-specific challenges. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research including market scans, literature reviews, technology assessments, and stakeholder mapping. Apply foundational systems thinking by creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and ecosystem maps that visualize client environments. Analyze data to support problem framing, opportunity identification, and hypothesis development. Assist in evaluating solution options across people, process, and technology dimensions. Contribute to early-stage solution concepts by developing diagrams, mockups, and structured summaries. Support low-fidelity prototyping efforts under guidance from Consultants and Managers. Help document requirements for digital tools, workflow improvements, or process redesign initiatives. Track tasks, milestones, and risks across project workstreams; maintain project documentation and action logs. Support the development of client deliverables such as presentations, reports, process maps, and analyses. Assist with internal collaboration across GISI Operating Companies, technical teams, and domain experts. Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, templates, and playbooks. Assist in synthesizing insights from completed engagements into case studies or internal learning materials. Stay informed on emerging technologies relevant to critical infrastructure, institutional operations, and transformation programs.
