As a summer intern at (BAM), you will gain knowledge on how a Professional Lines Insurance division operates. BAM is a leading Professional Lines Insurance carrier with expertise in the Design Professional, Construction Professional and Service Professional lines of business. We are committed to providing innovative insurance solutions and exceptional customer experience for our insureds. Key functions include but are not limited to: Rotation through each BAM department including Underwriting, Claims, Risk Management, Operations, Actuary, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and IT Gain exposure to the diverse roles, responsibilities, and goals for each department Work on unit specific projects with subject matter experts Develop your professional communication and business skills through a variety of on-line course work Build valuable connections within the insurance industry including networking with senior level managers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or community college.
• Highly motivated and results oriented with strong time management skills
• Creative and willingness to learn innovation strategies
• Ability to handle confidential matters appropriately
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service preferred
