Employee-centric Orlando Health has been selected as one of the “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” by Modern Healthcare Internship overview & details: The IT/CE Internship program at Orlando Health (OH) offers the opportunity for individuals with an interest in Information Technology and/or Clinical Engineering (BioMed) to gain hands-on experience in an exciting health IT environment, through a structured 10-12 week program. All selected program participants will be oriented to the culture, policies and procedures. Participants will attend classes and receive ongoing mentoring in their areas of specialization and the different essential functions of healthcare IT/CE operations. There may also be opportunities for shadowing senior leaders. Under the direction of designated staff, performs assigned duties that aid in the overall educational experience of the intern. Location: On site in Orlando, FL Program Committment • Ten - Twelve consecutive weeks • Be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week between M-F, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. • Be able to work in hybrid working environment (remote and on-site).
