About The Position

Honeyville is looking for two upper-level college interns (junior or senior level) to support our ERP transition to Aptean Food & Beverage (Business Central) and Lascom PLM. These interns will help document processes, build end-user training materials, capture workflows, and assist internal teams with organizing, tracking, and cleaning up data and procedures as we prepare for go-live. This is a hands-on role working closely with the ERP Steering Committee, project leads, and operations/production/finance staff and IT. Interns will gain real experience with ERP systems, supply chain processes, and cross-functional project work.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior pursuing a degree in one of the following (or similar): Accounting Supply Chain Management Operations Management Information Systems Business Administration Industrial Engineering Technical Writing or Communication (for documentation-heavy work)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable talking with multiple departments and gathering information
  • Ability to document processes in a clear, step-by-step format
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly (ERP exposure is a plus, not required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with workflow mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io)
  • Prior coursework or experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or supply chain
  • Familiarity with technical documentation or training development
  • Interest in ERP systems or process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Process Documentation Shadow Honeyville teams (Production, Warehousing, Customer Service, Purchasing, Planning, Finance) to document current workflows.
  • Capture step-by-step procedures and convert them into work instructions for the new ERP processes.
  • Develop clear process maps, SOP drafts, and “how-to” guides.
  • Training Content & Materials Build end-user training documentation, work instructions, and quick-reference guides.
  • Create screenshots, annotated steps, and video screen recordings for internal training.
  • Support Operations and IT in organizing training materials into a consistent format.
  • Data & System Preparation Assist with data clean-up activities (e.g., item master attributes, BOMs, routings, vendor/customer data).
  • Help validate test data or sample transactions inside ERP test environments under Operations/IT supervision.
  • Track issues and update project status.
  • Project Coordination Attend ERP work sessions and take notes during meetings and workshops.
  • Organize documentation in SharePoint or Teams for easy retrieval.
  • Update and maintain internal project lists, tasks, and training checklists.
  • Internal Support Work with department managers/supervisors and functional SMEs to gather missing information for documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling training sessions and coordinating user readiness tasks.
  • Support follow-up tasks between ERP and PLM workstreams.
