About The Position

We are looking to engage a small group of interns AND/OR PART-TIME STUDENT WORKERS (the exact number is flexible and will depend on student availability and hours worked) to support several academic and analytical projects. Below is a general overview of our needs: Internship Details Paid Internship! Time Commitment: Approximately 12-15 hours per week per intern Duration: March through July/August 2026, BUT we could break this up into just March, April & May and then for other students June, July, & August) Location: In-person. Downtown Maryville TN in Preservation Plaza (across from the Maryville College Downtown Center Work Focus: Content review/Quality Assurance and analysis of math problems and career exploration lessons. Ideal Backgrounds / Areas of Study. We are open to students from a variety of disciplines, including: Math majors (mathematics content knowledge is essential) Education majors, particularly Math Education English or Communications majors with strong copywriting and content review skills Students with experience or interest in research, quantitative reasoning, and quality assurance Students with analytics or data-related experience, including: Data analysis and interpretation Supporting AI-driven initiatives Reviewing and analyzing work outputs in partnership with research efforts The roles are flexible and can be tailored based on each intern’s strengths, academic background, and availability.
