About The Position

The Construction Intern will gain hands-on experience in commercial construction by assisting project teams in both field and office environments. This position offers exposure to all phases of construction — from planning and budgeting to site execution and closeout. Interns will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, contributing to real projects while developing technical, analytical, and leadership skills essential for a future career in the construction industry.

Requirements

• Strong interest in commercial construction and project management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with project documentation, daily reports, and progress tracking.
• Supporting field supervision and coordinating with subcontractors and site personnel.
• Learning and adhering to construction safety practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
• Participating in project and client meetings to observe communication and decision-making processes.
• Assisting with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and project budgeting.
