About The Position

Ennead Architects, an award-winning, internationally recognized architecture firm, is seeking current students in accredited architecture programs to join our firm for the summer. The summer intern position is specifically for students returning to school for the fall term.

Successful candidates will have strong portfolios, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both peers and supervisors. Over a duration of 3 months, interns will work directly with the firm’s senior staff on projects of various types.

Primary responsibilities will include supporting the design and planning process through drawing, modeling, rendering, and diagramming. Interns will also participate in the firm’s Ennead Intern Program (EIP), a development program designed to further students’ architectural education within a professional setting.

Requirements

• Current students enrolled in an accredited architecture program.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Revit, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign required. Experience with other 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus, as is familiarity with parametric design tools.
• Prior experience working in a design office is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills; attentive, approachable, and able to work effectively with others.
• Ability to maintain professional and productive working relationships with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural design assistance on a variety of projects under the direct supervision of senior staff.
• Participate in office-wide programs and activities, with a particular focus on the Ennead Intern Program.
