GRU’s Chief Customer Officer is looking for a motivated, adaptable student with an interest in Business, Finance, Analytics, and Customer Operations who is eager to learn, contribute, and take on meaningful assignments that improve how we serve our customers. In this role, the intern will perform three primary functions that directly support day-to-day customer operations and service outcomes such as completing daily BPEM tasks, monitoring and updating the Payment Arrangement Log, and completing RFIs (Requests for Information) for various internal workgroups. The intern will also assist with research, reporting, and process improvements by gathering information, analyzing trends, and helping teams make data-informed decisions. A successful intern will demonstrate strong Excel competency, the ability to manage time and work independently after training, and the capacity to learn new computer systems quickly. This position is well-suited for students with coursework or experience in analytics, reporting, queries, and data extracts, including monitoring the accuracy and integrity of automated data and distributing reports used to track performance indicators. Prior customer service experience is also a plus, along with strong research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. This is a temporary position under general supervision and requires consistent, reliable attendance. Students must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week (preferably 12–20 hours/week in 3–8 hour blocks) and be available for at least two consecutive semesters (one year preferred). This temporary position provides developmental opportunities for students in business and technical work settings and assists in preparing them for possible future employment in these areas.
