We’re hiring an Intern: Wiring Harness Project Engineer at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO , and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is fully remote.

Requirements

  • Must be actively working towards a BS degree (or seeking) in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Industrial, or Agricultural/biological (machinery focused) Engineering preferred
  • Attention to detail / organization skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You are highly organized and able to multitask
  • You have a strong desire to take on new challenges with a positive attitude
  • Aptitude for working in groups and collaborating

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and Creo preferred
  • Familiar with Computer Aided Drafting, Kanban and work organization, Wiring Schematics, Electrical knowledge, Excel (soft skills), programming (Python)
  • Ability to use tools, experience in automotive a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supports project coordination, data analysis, and cross-functional communication to help engineering teams operate efficiently.
  • Organize project schedules, maintaining documentation, and tracking action items to ensure tasks stay on track.
  • Gather and analyze project data—such as timelines, costs, and resource usage—to identify risks or bottlenecks and prepare clear reports or dashboards for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication among engineering, product, and operations teams by following up on deliverables, supporting meetings, and assisting with planning activities like design reviews or project sessions.
