About the Role: This application is for a 12-week internship role from June - August 2026. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, this role will be responsible for supporting consumer marketing initiatives for ZURZUVAE, indicated for adults with Postpartum Depression (PPD). PPD is the most common complication of pregnancy, yet it remains significantly undiagnosed and undertreated. One in eight women report having symptoms of PPD—500,000+ annually in the US alone. ZURZUVAE launched in 2024 as the first FDA-approved oral treatment for PPD; more than 25,000 women have been prescribed Zurzuvae since then. The Neuropsychiatry team works relentlessly to be in service of moms with PPD and the professionals who treat them. What You’ll Do: As an intern, you will collaborate with several different functions at Biogen to support consumer marketing objectives. The role will include, but is not limited to: Support the development of a consumer promotion content strategy including a comprehensive message map as the final deliverable. This strategy and final deliverable will articulate the most impactful content by channel to help move consumers through patient journey. Support the development of the PPD patients’ care circle (partner, immediate family members, friends, plus supporting actors like doulas, midwives and lactation consultants) strategy. This initiative will also include the development of tactical execution recommendations to support his audience. These projects will include collaborating with: marketing insights, the omni-channel center of excellence, and creative agencies. This person will be responsible for determining the right approach to educate and communicate to internal stakeholders about the above-mentioned consumer marketing activities and strategies. To participate in the Biogen Internship program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date. Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship. Education Requirements Undergraduate with at least one year of classes. Job Level: Internship Additional Information The base compensation range for this role is: - The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs.
