About The Position

Lionsgate Television is seeking a Physical Production intern. This intern will be working with the Television Physical Production team alongside our creative, production, post production, VFX, music and finance teams for a holistic view of the TV Production process.

Requirements

  • Excellent in oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Production is an ever-changing landscape so this intern must be flexible and willing to potentially work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Candidate will be expected to be a team player who dives in and is excited about all aspects of filmmaking.
  • Passion for the Television industry and Production.
  • Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
  • Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Television production team with in-office tasks and the handling of production assets.
  • Track and catalogue resumes and credits for Below the Line crew members.
  • Track Production calendars and other documents for members of the production team.
  • Read in development and current scripts and write script coverage.
  • Conduct online research for pre-production.
  • Watch dailies and studio/network cuts of current projects.
  • Attend weekly creative and production meetings to discuss projects, along with table reads.
  • Ad hoc projects, as needed.
