About The Position
This position will support our Tax team as a Summer Intern from May 2026 - August 2026 and will be based in Nashville. This is a paid, full-time internship. This internship will offer hands-on experience in corporate income tax compliance, provision support, tax research, and indirect taxes. The intern will work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to real-world tax processes in a dynamic business environment. In this position you will have the opportunity to: Assist with preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns Support quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations (ASC 740) Help gather and organize financial data for tax filings and audits Perform basic tax research and summarize findings for the team Assist in maintaining tax workpapers and documentation Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounting and tax concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Accounting or Tax
- Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
