This role is best suited for a student pursuing a business degree with a focus on sustainability, environmental management, or corporate responsibility. The intern will assist with greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting efforts, resource-reduction initiatives related to office operations, and the development of internal sustainability and office real estate guidelines. This is a paid internship for Summer 2026.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or a related field
- 3rd and 4th year students preferred
- Interest in corporate sustainability and operational environmental performance
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Support greenhouse gas (GHG) data collection, tracking, and documentation
- Assist with evaluating energy use, waste, and other operational sustainability metrics
- Help identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact across office operations
- Contribute to internal sustainability standards, policies, and guidelines
- Research sustainability practices, benchmarks, and reporting approaches
- Assist with internal sustainability reporting and presentations
