About The Position
The Supply Chain Intern will assist in the improvement of our vendor master database, while developing an understanding regarding the functionality of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Accounting systems. Assist in department process improvements including, but not limited to; new vendor entries, RNI, and invoice discrepancies. The Impact You Will Make in This Role:
Requirements
- Current student in the field of Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or Finance working toward a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Detail oriented, with the ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Results driven, and able to meet deadlines.
- Effectively communicate with multiple individuals, across different departments.
- Maintain data security, confidentiality, and integrity.
Nice To Haves
- G.P.A. of 3.0 or above preferred.
- Previous ERP system experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with updating vendor master database within multiple systems.
- Communicate progress with Supervisor and meet assigned deadlines.
- New vendor additions and W-9 retrieval.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
