About The Position

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. Requirements

  • Undergraduate biochemistry lab experience, either coursework or research under the supervision of graduate student/professor.
  • Completion of organic chemistry and familiarity with small molecule representations and functional groups.
  • Experience with protein handling, characterization, and storage (FPLC or HPLC techniques like SEC and affinity chromatography. PAGE, quantitation via Bradford and nanodrop etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm to work hard and learn this summer!

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with growing and harvesting protein crystals highly desirable.
  • Prior use of crystallographic software suites (CCP4, Phenix) and visualization software (PyMOL, Chimera) also highly desirable.
