Overview Our Internship Development Program is designed to provide Interns with real-world experience in the banking and financial services industry. An internship with Fulton Bank provides opportunity to build essential skills and explore a career path that matches your interests, while gaining valuable insights into the working life at Fulton. In addition, Interns have the opportunity to build their professional network, grow through professional development opportunities, give back to the community, engage with other Fulton Bank Interns, and connect with other employees through our Employee Resource Groups. Under close supervision with a designated Supervisor, you will be responsible for observing the policies and procedures within a specific area/department of the Bank. Activities and internship duration vary by assignment. Strong academic performance is required. Previous work, leadership experience, and community involvement is preferred. Additional Details: Start Date: May 2026 (SUMMER Internship) Work Location: Hybrid - remote work and in-office attendance required at Corporate Headquarters (One Penn Square Lancaster, PA 17602) Specific in-office days will be communicated by the supervisor. Work Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. 8:00am – 5:00pm are standard working hours. Additional Details: This role is part of a temporary internship program that requires residence within Fulton Bank's footprint (PA, NJ, DC, DE, MD or VA) Must attend Internship Program events in Lancaster, PA at our Corporate Headquarters (mileage reimbursement offered). Relocation package/support is not offered for this position. Internship assignments will not exceed nine (9) months in duration. As a condition of employment, individuals must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for a work visa by Fulton Financial Corporation currently or in the future. Scope of Work: Fulton Bank is excited to offer a unique internship opportunity for a motivated student interested in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management and/or Third-Party Risk Management. This internship will provide exposure to sourcing, purchasing, and vendor risk management functions within a financial services environment. The intern will gain practical experience by supporting team activities, collaborating with internal partners, and contributing to ongoing projects. The role will provide opportunities to build workplace skills, enhance familiarity with business processes, and observe how vendor and contract oversight activities support operational objectives. Specific assignments may vary based on departmental priorities.

Requirements

  • Fulton Bank Interns will be expected to have completed or are currently enrolled and in the process of completing, a four (4) year college degree from an accredited college/university earning a degree.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 15 academic credits/credit hours- equivalent to one semester.
  • Strong academic performance is required.
  • 0-6 months previous experience will align to the needs of the assigned department/project. Experience is demonstrated through former employment or co-op, internship, leadership, or community involvement experience.
  • Ideal candidate demonstrates strong interpersonal skills through verbal and written communication, has strong customer service skills, and is a motivated self-starter with drive demonstrating initiative to advance their career.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks/assignments simultaneously, handle and manage a high volume or work, achieve deadlines while producing high quality and accurate products, and work independently and efficiently after instruction has been given.
  • Must be able to professionally handle and prepare sensitive and confidential information.
  • Technical skills are required with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Preferred field of study/major: Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or Third Party Risk Management.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred.
  • Enthusiasm to learn about sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, and third party risk management.
  • Strong interest in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in a wide range of opportunities with tasks in assigned department.
  • Performs assigned duties in designated department to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance.
  • Management feedback must indicate satisfactory progress to remain in Internship Program.
  • Completes reports on progress in internship program and gives feedback about program to Manager and Talent Acquisition team.
  • Intern may also participate in career training/education as needed, as well as, corporate events/initiatives.
  • Duration of Internship is dependent on individual assignment, but will not exceed nine (9) months in duration.
  • Assist team members with routine administrative and project related tasks
  • Help organize documents, files and shared team materials
  • Support tracking and maintenance of internal records or logs
  • Participate in data entry, updating information and basic research activities
  • Assist with creating, formatting, or reviewing spreadsheets or reports
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including agendas and follow-up notes
  • Communicate with internal partners and gather requested information
  • Support process documentation and identify opportunities for efficiencies
  • Observe and learn how sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities are executed
  • Participate in team meetings, discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions
  • This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager.
