About The Position

Lanteris Space is currently seeking an intern for our Space Environments engineering group. This position will be located in our Palo Alto, CA offices. Space environments is comprised of various roles that contribute to the development, production, and test of satellites. These roles apply knowledge of particle radiation, micrometeoroid and orbital debris, atomic oxygen, electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic interference, electrostatic discharge, and charging phenomena. An ideal candidate will be seeking experience working in space applications for unit and spacecraft qualification. This is a requisition for summer of 2024 intern positions with involvement in the design, analysis, and production of satellites. Your Project: As a Space environments intern, you will gain exposure to some or all of the following areas: Single event effects analysis Data processing Total dose analysis Displacement damage analysis Unit EMC testing Magnetic analysis Requirements verification Venting analysis

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering, physics or related discipline with completion of 2 years or more, or currently enrolled in a master's degree program.
