About The Position

We are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to help advance financial inclusion and digital transformation by adapting our platform to comply with local-market needs. On our team, you will be in the middle of it all – implementing new functionality, architecting our system, squashing bugs, maintaining the health of our code, and continually growing as an engineer. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and supporting mission-critical systems. You’ll face and solve a wide range of challenges: technical, product, and operational, shaping your personal growth and career along the way, as well as helping mold and grow the team members. The candidate must be available for the entire internship period: Cohort 1: Monday, June 1st, 2026 to Friday, August 21st, 2026 Cohort 2: Monday, June 15th, 2026 to Friday, September 4th, 2026

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited US-based university (working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field) with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Must be returning to school for at least one quarter or semester after the internship
  • Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience (excluding internships and research assistant roles)
  • Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area and be available to work in the San Francisco HQ office
  • Some previous experience with automated testing, building, and deployment systems (CI/CD).
  • Some previous experience with database and cloud technologies (Preferably AWS)
  • Our core stack is Python, we’re running Kubernetes, and AWS technologies like EKS/Lambda/RDS/Aurora/Dynamo.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with your mentor to work on well defined requirements for both product and engineering work.
  • Learn how to deliver highly available, resilient and scalable services in a production environment
  • Write, test, deploy, and monitor efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals
  • Learn to work alongside with project leads, product managers, and other software developers
  • Participating in code and design reviews
