About The Position

As an Intern – Social Media at LJA Business Solutions, you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team with day-to-day operations, and internal marketing initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, employee-owned environment while contributing to projects that support the company’s growth and brand presence.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have completed at least one year of college and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms.
  • Experience with CanvaPro or Adobe Express is required. Familiarity with other graphic design tools such as Adobe is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic about social media trends and emerging platforms.
  • Proven ability to maintain and meet task deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a marketing role (internship or coursework accepted)
  • Familiarity with marketing coordination, or administrative support
  • Interest in marketing, branding, and public relations initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorming and creating engaging content for various social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the company's brand voice and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop visually appealing graphics, images, and other multimedia content.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss ongoing and upcoming campaigns, share insights, and contribute ideas.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including marketing, design, and content creation to align social media efforts with broader marketing strategies.
  • Maintain company's social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Create and schedule posts, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Interact with our online community, respond to comments, messages, and foster a positive and engaging atmosphere.
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Assist with maintaining the company intranet.
