About The Position

The Intern Service position requires an energetic and driven individual with a desire to create a career path within the multi-family housing industry. The Maintenance Intern is responsible for the completion of all tasks in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with company safety standards. A successful Intern Service associate is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude required
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Have a valid driver license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Must be enrolled in Technical College with an expected graduation date or other

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of apartments for occupancy
• Assist in maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, as well as small and large appliances
• Help maintain pools and spas
