Intern - Service Support - Phoenix, AZ
About The Position
Seeking the motivated, the curious, the optimistic. The Intern in this role will champion a program to inventory, serialize, and catalogue specialized equipment used to support service operations. The objective is to streamline Tooling Operations. The job function comes with limited access to KLA Semiconductor Process Control (Semi-PC) and Chemical Analysis (ECI) equipment. The Intern will have the ability to shadow KLA Service Engineers in the KLA office and at the primary customer facility, during daily service operations. Candidates for this position have a working understanding of Microsoft Suite, and know how to communicate effectively across multiple channels and platforms (MS Teams, e-mail, text, video-conference, and in person). Time management and organizational skills are a must.
Requirements

- Enrolled in Engineering or Technical Engineering program at 2 or 4yr college (Optical, Electrical, Mechanical, IT/Computer Science)
- Requires less than 1 year of related experience
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of / Experience with 6-Sigma process is a plus
