About The Position
The Right of Way/GIS Intern is responsible to perform various tasks associated with the mapping of Dairyland's real estate assets into its Geospatial Information System (GIS). With headquarters in La Crosse, Wis., Dairyland is a generation and transmission cooperative that provides wholesale energy for 24 electric distribution cooperatives and 17 municipal utilities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Valid Driver's License.
Nice To Haves
- Some AutoCAD and GIS-related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties associated with collecting, organizing, and data entry of real estate data into DPC's GIS software program.
- Creating shape files of property information from AutoCAD software and transferring the information into DPC's GIS software program.
- Read and compare mapping information from transmission line Plan and Profile sheets to DPC's GIS software program.
- Other duties as assigned.
