You are customer-focused, professional, and motivated to build strong relationships. C&N is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Retail Banking Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This hands-on internship provides real-world experience within a community banking branch environment. You will work alongside our Retail Banking team to support client service, operational workflow, referral development, and compliance awareness. From observing daily branch operations to assisting with supervised service and administrative tasks, this role offers meaningful exposure to relationship-based banking. Requirements

• Education & Experience – Applicants must be undergraduate students who will be entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2026 and pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Communications, or a related field. Candidates outside of this academic level will not be considered. Prior banking experience is not required.
• This internship is full-time in Wellsboro, PA with an anticipated start on Monday, May 18th, and will last a total of 12 weeks with an anticipated end date of Friday, August 7th.

Responsibilities

• Branch Operations Exposure: Gain understanding of daily retail banking functions, including transactions, account servicing, and workflow processes.
• Client Service & Relationship Support: Observe and support team members in delivering high-quality client experiences and identifying client needs.
• Operational & Administrative Support: Assist with documentation preparation, account maintenance tasks, and workflow organization under supervision.
• Compliance & Fraud Awareness: Gain exposure to regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and fraud prevention practices.
• Referral & Cross-Department Collaboration: Learn how Retail Banking partners with Mortgage, Wealth, and Business Banking to meet client needs.
• Capstone Project: Complete a retail-focused capstone such as developing a financial literacy resource, analyzing branch workflow efficiencies, or supporting a community engagement initiative.
