About The Position

Our Research & Development Internship offers individuals a hands-on, real-world experience within the company over an 8-10-week period. You will work on a variety of projects, all centered around Research and Development and Food Manufacturing.

Requirements

• Prefer a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree at an accredited university in a relevant field of study; Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Food Chemistry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both a manufacturing and office environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship/co-op experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You will work with R&D on a variety of projects associated with Production / Manufacturing Specifications, Shelf Life Studies, New Product Development, Commercialization Trials, New Species Research and other work associated with Research and Development.
• Assist in developing and standardizing Production Specifications to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist with Fish Friday retail operation when needed.
• Additional projects as appropriate.
