Detail-oriented problem solvers ready to take on impactful projects that optimize processes and enhance efficiency in a growing company. | WHAT YOU GET TO DO Develop hands-on skills in project management, including timeline creation, data collection, and coordinating meetings. Build expertise in materials management and inventory control processes. Hone negotiation skills through direct collaboration with suppliers to secure optimal terms. Gain proficiency in ERP systems, specifically NetSuite, for operational and data management. Work with advanced project management tools like Project X and Smartsheet to streamline workflows. Actively participate in supplier pricing negotiations to contribute to cost-saving initiatives. Design and maintain internal sourcing databases for improved resource management. Conduct in-depth research on current and potential suppliers to analyze and define their terms and conditions. | WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or better to be considered Currently enrolled in a Bachelor Program of Supply Chain or Purchasing Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA Must be able to commute to Troy, MI office 5 days per week Must be seeking a full time, 40 hours per week internship WHY JOIN TEAM SLATE? Requirements
