About The Position

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Intern Project Planner for Summer, 2026. The position is based in Hagerstown, MD. This internship aims to develop skills and knowledge in a real-world manufacturing environment, with mentorship from experienced production planning professionals. The intern will assist the Planning manager and team with planning, analysis, and other procedural improvements, participate in the execution of development projects, and support the development and integration of documentation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy within the department and the organization.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Junior or Senior standing or enrolled in a Master’s program.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week onsite.
• Current Engineering or Business student at a 4-year university with a graduation date between December, 2026 and December, 2027.
