About The Position

Intern- Project Manager (Summer 2026) Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Assist Project Managers and Regional Leadership with day-to-day coordination and administrative tasks for roadway lighting and signalization projects. Support field and office teams in maintaining project documentation, schedules, and progress tracking. Help prepare project submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other documentation required for DOT and municipal projects. Attend project meetings and assist with meeting minutes, follow-ups, and reporting. Maintain organized project files and assist in managing both electronic and hard copy records. Assist with cost tracking, purchase orders, invoices, and subcontractor coordination. Support safety documentation and ensure compliance with company and client safety standards. Assist in preparing project closeout packages, client deliverables, and final completion documentation. Collaborate with estimating, accounting, and operations teams on active and upcoming projects. Coordinate material deliveries, field logistics, and communication between internal and external stakeholders. Perform data entry, reporting, and other project-related administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
