About The Position
Project Management Organization We manage the electric transmission and distribution portfolio of projects in Kentucky, with a focus on safely enhancing grid resiliency and reliability. We deploy a gated project management process across the full project life cycle, including project identification, initiation, engineering, construction planning, construction execution, and project closeout.
Requirements
- Enrolled in school full time pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in construction management or engineering.
- GPA Requirement of 3.00
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with managing project schedules (Primavera P6), project financials (PowerPlan), and project team communications.
- Review financial data to ensure accuracy of estimate and cash flow inputs.
- Learn key metrics for project and portfolio health analysis (EVM – Earned Value Management/CPI/SPI).
- Evaluate field communications for impacts to schedules and committed costs.
- Observe safety meetings, job briefings, and contribute as appropriate.
- Assist Project Managers with project documentation, including requirements, meeting minutes, and other project records.
