About The Position

Summary The Project Management Intern will support the Project Management team in managing new product development and launch activities within a fast‑paced cosmetics contract manufacturing environment. The intern will help coordinate cross‑functional tasks between R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and external brand partners to ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with customer requirements. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Interest in cosmetics, manufacturing, or project management preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Track project timelines, milestones, and key deliverables for new product launches.
  • Assist in preparing and completing costing documentation and playbooks, gaining insight into financial analysis and cost structures behind launches.
  • Support R&D with the completion of PDRs, offering visibility into product development processes and brand expectations.
  • Participate in pilot runs and assist with production planning activities.
  • Monitor raw material and packaging readiness to ensure timely launches.
  • Attend and contribute to cross-functional meetings; document action items and next steps.
  • Create and follow up on internal project report-outs.
  • Coordinate internal project meetings and track procurement status, specifications, materials, and due dates.
  • Assist with NPRs and post‑mortem reviews.
  • Provide backup support for team members during vacations or holiday periods.
