About The Position

This position will work closely with the program manager and project team members across multiple business lines, participating in projects and daily tasks including, but not limited to project planning, project execution, project documentation and other general project management tasks. The Project Manager Intern will gain skills in project planning and execution, team collaboration, and documentation and reporting principles. Position is temporary working less than 30 hours per week starting mid-May and ending August, 2025. Work location is either the corporate office in Aurora, NE or the business office in Gibbon, NE.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Student must be pursuing a degree in relevant field (Accounting, Business, Construction Management, or Technology is preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Self-motivated, dependable individual that works well with others.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing critical projects, such as fiber optic infrastructure, system integration, and process improvement initiatives.
• Work alongside professionals from Accounting, IT, Construction, Legal, Marketing, and more to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Gain exposure to established project management techniques, team collaboration, and task management strategies.
• Help maintain project documentation and support teams with daily operational tasks.
