The Assistant Project Management Intern will participate in a supervised, structured learning experience providing practical experience and skill development in a professional setting, with responsibilities often including assisting with projects, research, and other tasks as needed. The Internship program at Performant offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Healthcare/Insurance industry and develop valuable skills which can be applied to future employment opportunities.

  • Project Coordination: Develop and manage team schedules and tasks, identify and manage risks, ticket creation, draft communications.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, project ticket tracking and status review.
  • Documentation and Analysis: Support project-specific needs such as documentation, analysis, and information gathering.
  • Quality Monitoring: Work closely with project manager to monitor the quality of the program deliverables and work with teams to ensure objectives and success criteria are actively managed and met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program relevant to the internship being offered.
  • Typically, candidates must have achieved Junior class standing or greater.
  • Work is likely to be remote in nature, so the ability to work remotely and have reliable, secure Internet service is required.
