Department The Aer Lingus Classic Program Management department oversees all planning, operations, and guest experience elements for the annual Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland. Our team manages a wide scope of responsibilities including fan travel packages, VIP hospitality, band travel, partner coordination, guest communications, marketing alignment, and onsite event execution. We work year-round with universities, partners, and international vendors to deliver a seamless, premium experience for fans, alumni, donors, and special guests traveling to the game. The department operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment that requires strong cross-functional teamwork with travel, air, accommodations, finance, sales, and guest services. Our focus is to ensure exceptional service, operational excellence, and memorable experiences for all stakeholders participating in the Aer Lingus Classic. Program Details We offer internship opportunities across IMG, On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), TKO Corporate, UFC, and WWE. Locations include New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Raleigh, Dallas, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and Stamford, CT. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless otherwise noted. In addition to hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns participate in events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops addressing everything from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking. Internships are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, or standard local working hours in the intern location. Important Dates By January 30th: Internships are posted to our career sites. February 28th: Applications will be accepted through this date. March 1st to March 27th: Recruiters will contact candidates and begin the interview process. March 30th to April 17th: Offers will be extended to selected candidates. May 18th: Program start date. The program will be 12 weeks in length from May 18th through August 7th. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Sports Management, Communications, Business, or a related field (senior standing preferred)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Excel, Word, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with data, schedules, and operational documents
  • Willingness to support hands-on event logistics, including setup, inventory, and coordination
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on responsibilities
  • Availability to support pre-event preparation and event-week operations, including extended hours when needed
  • Potential opportunity to travel onsite for event operations (not guaranteed); valid passport required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with guest communications, including drafting and sending travel updates
  • Monitor and manage guest services inboxes, responding to routine inquiries in a timely manner
  • Support pre-departure communication schedules and content coordination
  • Help ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience throughout the full travel cycle
  • Support pre-event and onsite operations, including logistics coordination and scheduling
  • Assist with data tracking, reporting, and document management
  • Help prepare vendors, partners, and internal teams for event execution
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the Event Operations team before and during event week
